Syllabus-oriented Science Camp
JUNE HOLIDAY CAMP 2016

At Science Alive Learning Centre, we believe in nurturing a passion in Science in our students, enabling them to enjoy learning and see the relevance of Science in their everyday life.

Our lessons are uniquely aided with MOE syllabus-based hands-on experiments to strengthen our students’ knowledge and application of the Science concepts, especially those topics with abstract Science concepts. These prove to enhance their learning in school.

 

Young Learners Camp (Suitable for 6-8)

(MOE syllabus based for P1 and P2 students)

Let your little ones explore science this holiday with our fun-filled and experiment packed Holiday camps. Help them discover the exciting topics that they will learn in school as they are exposed to topics from the thematic MOE syllabus.

 Themes covered: Diversity, Cycles, Interaction, Systems and Energy

P3P4 BRAINY CAMP (2 FULL-DAY)

(For Current Pri 3 and 4 students)

(MOE syllabus based for P3 and P4 students)

Themes covered: Diversity, Cycles, Energy Interaction and Systems

Slime Time (Matters)

Prepared to go it up with our slimy introduction to the properties of matter! Learn more about the states of matter by mixing up our slime recipes.

Crystal in a Bottle (Heat)

It’s not genie in that bottle! Learn more about heat and temperature by growing crystals in a bottle and mastering the use of thermometers and other laboratory apparatus.

SP5 BRAINY CAMP

(MOE syllabus based for P5 students)

Let your children see the amazing things they can do with the Science they learn in school. They’ll wow their friends with amazing experiments and cool new gadgets, based on the current MOE Syllabus.

Themes covered: Cycles, Energy, Interaction and Systems

Conceptual learning and answering technique through hands-on experiments like

Painting with Light (Plant Systems)

Brighten up your day with this sun-loving experiment. Learn more about light and photosynthesis in leaves by experimenting with light-sensitive chemicals.

Plugging in Pickles (Circuits)

Shock yourself with this electrifying experiment! Learn more about electrical conductivity by zapping a pickle in a circuit.

PSLE BOOT Camp 

(MOE syllabus based for Pri 6 students)

Conceptual learning and answering technique through hands-on experiments like

 

PSLE is drawing near. Our preparative program is specially designed to assist P6 students to review, relate and revise the syllabus. The 3-day intensive program is conducted by teachers who have more than 8 years’ experience in helping kids score that A* in PSLE Science!

 

Themes covered: Diversity, Cycles, Systems, Energy and Interactions.

 

Our focus:

 

  • Revision Guidelines on all topics from P3 to P6
  • Conceptualize mind map
  • How to Ace the MCQ section
  • Tackle challenging PSLE questions
  • Time Management Skills
  • Answering Technique: Tips and Tricks
